My introduction to the healing arts all started with my own healing process. With Moving to San Francisco from Columbus, Ohio in the early 90’s I was able to explore forms of healing that were unfamiliar to me. With doing so, I was able to experience my withstanding physical issues dissipate. With much enthusiasm I encountered the amazing benefits of acupuncture, herbal medicine, hypnotherapy, counseling and some esoteric practices.
In 1998, I had met two people with whom I shook hands with and both persons had pinned me as a massage therapist, I took off with their revelations and within one week I was registered to start a program in massage therapy at Trinity College.
During my term at Trinity College and the many classes in different forms of Eastern body work I knew upon my completion of this program that I would want to learn more about Eastern practices. |

It was late 1999 I had learned from a local magazine about the work of Chi Nei Tsang (Chinese Internal Organ Massage). My curiosity and I jumped quickly for the opportunity to learn this work with Gilles Marin, a brilliant instructor, I should add. Through his workshop I had become a level one practitioner and more importantly what was gained was a quote that he had said; “to take the work that I have shown you and to make it your own”…and so I did! From that point forward I began to work on every massage client’s abdomen and what evolved from that process has been an enlightening and an integral component to more self-healing, the nexus for the work that I now provide to others.
I then became an apprentice junkie, the more knowledge the better! I studied with Shaman in Peru, assisted Angela Wu LAc., Carol Fong LAc., Master Wang (a Tui Na and Cupping expert) and Steve Bearman with whom I became a certified counselor.
As a reflection of all that has been learned my passion is to help others achieve balance, create a fulfilling life and clear whatever is slowing them down or preventing them from moving forward. I practice a very supportive healing style that I customize for each client depending on their needs and the depth of treatment that they are ready for.
I look forward to working with you…thanks for reading! |
