Recently, so many clients have been asking me what exactly it is that I do? Well, it’s a bit paradoxical, as it’s both complicated (years of training in multiple modalities) and simple (inner guidance). Here, I’ll attempt to break it down in a concise way so that you can share it with those you love or feel could benefit from the work. When laying my hands on your body, I get a sense of direction, where to go, guiding me to the part of your body that needs/wants attention. This may be where the flow of energy/chi feels weak, blocked, or stuck, a stagnation of the organs or muscle tissue that needs help. A sensation in my hands tells me that the organ would like a little jiggle, an energetic and caressing hold, a tap, a pat or perhaps a gentle squeeze. I often say, “I just do as I’m told.” Your body’s intelligence knows exactly what it wants and I simply listen. People often share how I’ve landed right on the area that has the issue without ever having told me about it. Your body is my guide. If left to my own devices, I’d have no idea where to begin or what to do, and would merely be giving a traditional treatment. Our body is its own intelligent universe: it knows precisely what it needs. Also, clients often show up and tell me the “thing” they need to be treated or “fixed.” Often, I find that this issue is masking something else. When we begin working together, we begin to locate the emotions that were locked into that area. It is hugely rewarding when you, the client, find that other symptoms clear up that were unrelated to the cause of what brought you in. A few examples: incontinence, dull, localized pain in an area not associated with the abdominal cavity (i.e., knee/shoulder/back pain), release of restriction of lungs and even better, improved overall quality of life and life management skills. Some of you even said you “argue better” or feel more confident, some noticed “an increase in libido and the return of sexual drive.” I love this feedback! So, in a nutshell, I move things! Things that no longer serve your body get shown the exit. I love saying “bye-bye” with you! Together, we aim for optimum function of each organ. Once this has happened, the organs know what to do to keep you in a state of wellness and vitality! Thank you much, Jada
